A beautifully presented cake with good even layers, a generous filling and real raspberries. The sponge is tender and moist, with savoury nutty notes ... the icing is meticulous ... there is a pleasing balance between cake and icing, enhanced by the layer of raspberry jam, which is spectacular. The grated white chocolate decoration gives sweetness and enhances the appearance. A very pretty cake – delicious and flavoursome, and not too rich.
